For those who are reading this for the first time,  we named Missing People as our charity partner for 2010 back in January because we really believe we can help make a difference. Firstly, we'll be providing media space to Missing People to run campaigns to help raise vital awareness of missing loved ones & secondly, we'll be joining in with various events over the next year to help raise sponsorship for the charity.

So far we have completed the following fundraising efforts:

March 2010: Admedia challenge no:1                                             Miles for Missing People- Hyde Park 10k run

Saturday 24th May: Admedia challenge no:2                                London to Birmingham in 24 hours- Cycle ride

Wednesday 23rd June: Admedia challenge no:3                         World Cup party raffle

Why did we choose Missing People?

Missing People are an amazing charity who help search for missing loved ones, support those who are looking, reconnecting families and working with the police to raise the profile of any unsolved cases.

A few facts- 1 person is reported missing in the UK every 5 minutes, 6000 cases are currently being worked on by Missing People, 68,000 calls were made to Missing People's runaway helpline and there are 210,000 reports of missing people every year in the UK.

People don't just disappear. Any money we raise will pay for more phonelines, more advertising of different cases and contribute to finding those missing people.
