18/05/09 UPDATE!!!
Torrential rain, a huge blood blister on my right heel, a huge burst blood blister on my left heel resulting in a training shoe full of blood, and being forced to walk straight past 5 pubs in the final 2 miles were not enough to stop your conquering hero from completing the 15 mile walk yesterday (especially after the 6th pub provided a swift enlivener for the final mile.)
03/05/09 UPDATE!!! My original target was clearly far too low so I've raised the bar.
I've also updated the profile photo to the left - if you laugh at this pic then you are MORALLY OBLIGED to donate! And if you email me with the OBVIOUS joke then you must donate double!
On Sunday May 17th I will be taking part in the Shooting Star Three Parks Challenge, a sponsored 15 mile walk through Richmond's Royal Parks.
The Shooting Star Children's Hospice provides care, support and advice for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families, free of charge, 365 days a year across the western half of London and north Surrey. You can find out more about them here:

If you find the notion of me dragging my shattered and broken carcass for 15 miles through some of south east England's most scenic landscape appealing, appalling, amusing or just downright laughable then please feel free to express yourself with some cold, hard cash.
As an extra incentive the closer we get to the target, the profile pic to the left will be updated with increasingly embarrassing snapshots of yours truly.
