Story
ON THE MORNING OF NOVEMBER 4th 2010 I REACHED THE TOP OF MT KILIMANJARO AT OVER 19,000 FT
I am not so young any more so this was very tough.
Please consider giving as much as you can for this very good cause.
I payed for my own trip so every penny that you give will go directly to my chosen charity which is Cancer Research UK. Also my company will be doubling all donations from our employees up to £6500.
My story is also on the Crystal Palace website so use this link to see and also read my full diary with many photos at the bottom of that page.

Statistics say that one in three of us will contract some form of cancer during our lives. By contributing you may be helping to save your own life later or that of someone dear to you. Survival rates for those affected by cancer are now double those of 30 years ago and this is a direct result of research.
Some facts which may help you give generously.
Height : 19,300 ft and the highest free standing mountain in the world. There are permanent glaciers near the top despite the proximity to the Equator.
Route : The "Lemosho" route is 40 miles over 8 days. Tropical rain forest near the bottom of the mountain and Arctic conditions near the top.
7 nights sleeping under canvas and maybe -15 deg near the top.
