I'm running for the Meningitis Research Foundation in memory of Daniel Penfold, a family friend, who passed away in the summer, aged just 16.

People say running a marathon is one of the hardest things you can put yourself through. Having seen what Daniel's family and friends have gone through this year it puts it all into perspective. I'm extremely motivated to raise as much money as I can and hope my contribution can at least help prevent what happened to Daniel, happening to another family.
