2008 Flora London Marathon

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. This is my first marathon. Remember - my commitment to this race and to unicef will go on throughout the winter months and is not just about the 26.2 miles on April 13th 2008! Think of me trudging up and down hills in the worst that a UK winter can throw at me! Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

As you can see from the picture - the running is hard work. I completed the Sussex Beacon (Brighton) Half Marathon on 17 February in 1h 42min 01s. A pleasing achievement, but I want to go faster! Our company (Accenture) being as it is, there are no shortage of people setting goals and motivating you to do better. My London marathon target time is therefore 3h 28min 42 seconds which, until now is my colleague Stewart Bond's (see donations below) best around that course. Your sponsorship gives me real motivation to train hard!
