Many thanks for those who have already sponsored me and thanks to those who are about to.  

I am pleased to say that I have now completed the Olympic distance triathlon which consisted of a 1500m swim, a 40km bike and a 10km run. I managed in a pretty respectable time of 2 hours 36 minutes and 58 seconds. It was hard work and the swim was fairly unpleasant owing to the large number of people in the water at the same time - around 350 of us. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and one made more enjoyable knowing that I was doing it for a good cause and that I had the support of many people behind me.

Debs is relieved that the training is over - no more early alarm call as the weekends etc. However, the fund raising will carry on for a month or so. So if you would like to sponsor me after the event, I would greatly appreciate it and I know all those who benefit from Help for Heroes will also.
