Hi Folks,

27.4.09 I made it!! It took me 7hrs 18 minutes and 24 seconds! I suffered in the heat, but I know that I did my absolute best. I even managed to sprint for the line when I rounded the corner into The Mall and saw the finish in the distance, with the crowd shouting 'Come on, Alex' and me shouting 'I'm coming, I'm coming!' The encouragement from the crowd was absolutely amazing. It's not too late to sponsor me - I really would appreciate your help getting to my target of £1400!
