Story
Over 10 members of Alfred McAlpine’s Special Projects team have now safety returned from the gruelling 560 mile, six day cycle challenge to raise money for CRASH, CRISIS and The Lighthouse Club Benevolent Fund.
Despite the appalling weather, negotiating floods in the Midlands, surviving five cycle accidents, fixing nine punctures and getting totally soaked to the skin, all members of the team had a great time and said that they would do it again!
Managing Director of Special Projects, Stephen Goulston said “We are delighted to support these industry recognised charities. I hope our ongoing support will continue to help these worthy causes.”
So far the cycle challenge has raised over £5,000 for the charities and more is very welcome.
