Quick update:  finished the 'race' in a time of: 1 hr 41 (considering I was carrying a knock that isn't too bad for me!). 

 

...Now then, I don't ask much from anyone in life but this is something I've meant to do for years - I'm ashamed that it's taken me so long to get off my backside.  But I need your help!

So I'm running the Great South Run on 24th of October in support of the Down's Syndrome Association. 

I'm not asking for loads (I know there's not loads of money kicking around at the moment).  But even if you pledged what you'd spend on a couple of drinks in the pub, or a couple of Ice Creams it would be fantastic.  Just for reference I'm using Oliver Reid's drinking rate as the benchmark ok?

So please dig deep and donate now.
