After a moment of madness, a few friends and myself decided to participate in the run to the beat half marathon. Lured by the promise of a carnival atmosphere and the thought of getting in-shape, we brought new trainers and began to pound the streets.

However, for one reason or another I am now the last man standing…At first I thought I’d had a lucky escape, but now with new resolve I have dusted off my trainers and decided to continue on. So to ensure I make both the start and the finish line I have decided to raise money for current veterans of Afghanistan and Iraq.
