Story
Thank you for visiting my page, and supporting me in my journey.
Last year I lost someone who was very special to me. Rose and I became friends when we were 12 years old, she was the first friend I made when my family moved to Cambridge and we have been in each others lives since.
In September 2017 Rose was diagnosed with Mesothelioma, a cancer that is 100% fatal. I wasn't even aware that there was a cancer that was still 100% fatal until Rose's diagnosis. Nine months later, after bravely battling the disease, Rose died. I lost my beautiful, joyful, totally unique friend.
I have always known that I wanted to do something in Rose's memory, to raise funds for research into Mesothelioma so that they can make a breakthrough with treatment and give patients, their families and friends some hope. I have decided to do the South Coast Triathlon because it is a tough challenge for me, it is scary and it is hard work training for it but I am determined to raise as much funds as I can for this cause- which is where I need your help!
I appreciate any donation you feel you can give me, it all goes to helping this amazing and important cause.
Thank you.
