I am running in the Great North Run on Sunday 19th September (seemed like a good idea over a pizza with Sarah on a dark January night!) in aid of Macmillan.

I have chosen Macmillan partly because I work with Macmillan nurses and know what a great job they do making a real difference to people with cancer and their families.

However i also chose Macmillan in memory of my Mother,Christa who sadly passed on almost 5 years ago. Her macmillan nurse made her so much more comfortable in the last weeks of her life and helped the whole family come to terms with the situation.
