Hello!!

I did it :) all of us did it!!

Myself,& Tracie, took it steady and reached the summit in a respectable, and within our target time, of 3 hours and 50 mins!!

and descended in 2 hours 20 mins

It was hard going at times but i was pleased with my fitness and no drama or injury. pics to follow soon.THANK YOU!! x

On Saturday 14th August 2010 ,along with James & Tracie and hundreds of other mad people, I am taking part in Checkemlads.com memorial climb on Mt Snowdon with the Mark Gorry foundation, the testicle tour,to remember Mark Gorry and all the brave men who we have lost to testicular cancer or other cancers.

As most of you know exercise ,of any kind,is an alien concept to me but I do believe this is a worthwhile cause and will not only be a challenge but a hell of a lot of fun!. I intend to quit the cigarettes in a couple of weeks and do some walking to help prepare me.I'm assured I don't need ropes,crampons or distress flares and I am determined not to have to involve moutain rescue or be in a full body plaster cast the week before my 43rd birthday! :).I know money is tight for all of us but please sponsor me and give as much as you can I would be really grateful and you all know there will be stories to tell after,this is me after all.Thank you!
