Well, the marathon's done!  Thanks for all your support and your generous donations.  With your help I've raised over £2000 for the Anthony Nolan Trust through on-line and off-line donations.  Fantastic!

The marathon itself was great.  A very hot day (for London) -- I think it was 24 degrees or hotter.  I finished in 4 hours and 47 minutes...I was a little bit disappointed with that time since I was on pace for round about a 4 hour finish up to mile 14 when I was hit with massive cramp.  Had to contend with that for the final 12 miles which was agony.  But I finished, and that's the important thing.  I'll just have to do better next time!
