Story
On 25 April I had the privilege of hosting The Really Wild Clay Day in aid of the Variety Club Children’s Charity and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity. The event was a huge success and we managed to raise in excess of £420,000. However as an additional fundraising challenge and to help raise extra money for both these charities I am trying to sponsor each of the clays we used on the day 40,000 in all at a cost of £10 a clay. I know it’s a big number of clays but a donation of £10 will help and any more will be very welcome. I am hoping 400 friends will give more than £100 each and then I will exceed my goal!!
Please do give as much as you are able to and help me raise as much money as possible for these two charities.
The Variety Club Children’s Charity has spent more than 50 years helping sick, disabled and disadvantaged children throughout the UK have a better life. Variety’s mission is to bring sunshine into the lives of youngsters, providing vital equipment and support where it is most needed.
(Please note that although all money will be processed by Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity all proceeds will be split equally between Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and the Variety Club Children’s Charity after the event.)
Thank you for all your support it is very much appreciated.
