UPDATE
Hi everyone
Well i'm back! had an amazing experience in Cuba and loved every minute of it- even the sleeping outside and cold showers- it was worth it to help support NACC.
Thanks so much to everyone who sponsored me/donated to support NACC.I have raised over £4000 for this great cause.

Hi everyone
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
As many of you know my daughter Jenna who is now 19 was diagnosed 3 years ago with Crohns disease. The first year or so after diagnosis she had no problems but the last year in particular has been really tough for her and has been unwell really since last October. After trying different treatments she underwent major bowel surgery in August and im glad to say she has coped really well with all of this and is back at Uni and partying hard!!
Throughout all of this i felt really pretty helpless and decided to direct my frustrations into raising money for NACC. i participated in the Great Scottish Walk back in May and managed to raise some money and stupidly(!) i have signed up for a trek in the mountains in Cuba in Feb 09. The hard bit now has been trying to get fit!!- not an easy task especially when its dark and wet outside.
Everyone has been so generous with sponsorship already and i have also had support from a number of local companies within Inverclyde, however i have set myself a target of raising £3000 before Feb so please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease - NACC will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
Andrina
