London Duathlon(run 9miles+cycle 12miles) 2hrs 35mins

London Half Marathon - 2 hrs 17 mins

Phase 1 done, 2 hours 35 minutes.

Phase 2 done. 2hrs 17 minutes (unofficial).

Me and my fat arse competed the 13.1 miles in the rain and wind and a bit more rain in a respectable time ( Well for a fat boy like me).

The reason for this madness is Little Haven Hospice, this place is both magical and heart breaking at the same time.

I know this from personal experience with my Son, Jamie.

The staff and volunteers in this and many other organisations of it's kind are all Hero's. They need to raise a minimum of £2million a year just to keep going and to continue to look after sick children and their families. They also offer a lot of after care for those families who find themselves in a very difficult place after the death of a child.

You really cannot imagine the brilliant work that happens in this place unless you visit and witness all the staff and families together.

So as you see the reason for me doing both these events are worthwhile and now you people have to dig deep and help me and Little Haven raise money.

The last time i did anything like this i raised just short of £3000 and that was only for a half marathon, this time i'm doing that and a duathlon. Got to be worth more!!!
