On 15-24 November 2008, I will go on a journey of a lifetime in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC).   

Each year GOSHCC need to raise £50 million annually and this year I thought that I would do my bit for this worthwhile cause.   All the money I raise will go to my chosen charity as I will be funding my trip.

I will be travelling to Peru, culminating in reaching the Inca capital of Machu Picchu.  It will be quite a challenge particularly as anyone who knows me, will know that I am not the trekking kind of gal.  I did look for some Jimmy Choo walking boots but they do not make them.  Strange!

Only a few days left until my trip and I am soooooo scared and keep thinking, what have I let myself in for?
