Story

Thanks for visiting the fundraising site for the One Anglo Supply Chain project team’s 3 Peaks Challenge!  We hope that you will help support us by digging deep in your pockets and sponsoring us online.

What are we asking you to sponsor us for?  Well, we are attempting to climb the UK's highest mountains in under 24 hours!  We will set off by climbing Ben Nevis in Western Scotland (1344m) then Scafell Pike in North West England (978m) before taking on Snowdon in North Wales (1085m). In all, the challenge involves some 42 km (26 miles) of ascent and descent, with total travel approaching 765 km (around 475 miles).

Why are we doing this? To help raise funds for some of the neediest and poorest people in the world. Through VSO International Charity, we are hoping to raise in excess of £10,000 for this worthwhile cause.

When is it? We will complete the 3 Peaks Challenge over the weekend of the 13th/14th September 2008.

Who is taking part?  Representatives from the One Anglo Supply Chain Project including both Anglo American and Accenture colleagues.

Please take the time to sponsor us – in return not only will you be supporting a great charity, but we also promise to provide photos of our intrepid Challenge for your amusement/edification!
