To mark Appstation's 10th anniversary, on Saturday 28th June 2008 staff and family will be donning their walking boots and tackling the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. 

The Appstation team of four will be walking the 25 mile route along with colleagues from other local companies who are part of the BNI Olympians business referral network in Sheffield.

The 10 - 12 hour walk takes in the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough - three of the highest peaks in North Yorkshire with a total ascent of around 5200ft.

Macmillan provides clinical and practical support for people living with cancer and their families. We are aiming to raise over £100 in sponsorship for each walker which could potentially fund a Macmillan nurse for 12 months, fund over 300 Macmillan grants, or support over 4000 people calling one of the Cancerline helpline services.
