Much more than Art Classes
Some of North London’s best artists will have their work showcased at a charity art exhibition.
Dubravka Kalinich has organised the event for 1st April, which will see more than 20 artists exhibit their pieces at the Grenville Workshops, Unit 27, 502 Hornsey Road
London. Dubravka said “As a teacher I especially value the importance of issue-based projects, encouraging class discussion and debate, linking art to other issues and all aspects of life, and have sought to include these areas into my schemes of work” Community fundraiser Craig More said “we’ve had some fantastic support from local artists and there will be some wonderful artwork on display to view and buy. If you can come along to the exhibition, it is greatly appreciated and you will be helping to support the charity”. Local artists were contacted directly through the art classes conducted by Dubravka at the Grenville Workshop. The art exhibition will be open from 6pm to 9pm. Money from work sold will go to the Koestler Trust a charity helping in the rehabilitation of offenders through Art. If you cant make it along to the charity evening the art work can be viewed on line at our facebook page and purchased by making a donation through this just giving page
