Fundraising for Michael Sobell Hospice
Story
Hello!
As part of the 'Ladies in the Night Walk 2010' event, we entered a charity night walk on 4th June 2010 to raise money in loving memory of Ashvin, who sadly passed away in April after a long and courageous battle against cancer.
He was an amazing person who was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Father-in-Law, Uncle and Grand Uncle. To us, he was known as our 'Papa', 'Ashvin kaka' or 'Ashvin mama'.
He was kind and generous, and was adored by all his family who supported him with so much love through his difficult times. He has now left an empty void in our lives which no-one can replace.
He received a great deal of care and attention from the staff at Mount Vernon Hospital, and therefore all monies raised will go to support the Michael Sobell Hospice based at this hospital.
As you can see, we've already reached our target, and we're currently the second biggest fundraiser for the MSH charity for this event. which is fantastic, but please help us raise as much as we can towards this great cause. Any donation, big or small will be greatly appreciated.
