Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Along with 7 of my work colleagues, I have signed up to complete 'The Three Peaks' challenge in aid of a charity called Pitch Perfect. 

Pitch Perfect aims to generate significant funds to bring dynamic musical and cricketing opportunities into schools and their communities in ’s most challenging boroughs. Through opportunities to play and perform in teams and groups, Pitch Perfect will support thousands of young Londoners to develop new skills and levels of aspiration, acquire confidence and self-esteem. 

On Saturday 18th September our challenge starts at 8.15 a.m. by climbing (1085m) with a target time of 4 hours.  At 5.15 p.m we will begin Scafell Pike (978m) with a target of 4 hours.  Finally on Sunday 19th September at 3.15 a.m. we will begin the climb to (1344m) summit and this has a target time of 6 hours.  Our challenge is to finish at 9.15 a.m. at the Nevis Inn Car Park.

I really believe this charity can make a difference with what it has to offer kids and with that in mind I have embarked upon a tough training regime which includes running between 5 & 10km per day, taking part in a 5km road race and various cardio/ workout classes.

By way of demonstrating my commitment I have donated the first £50 and I will also pledge £1 per cigarette I smoke between now and the Challenge date (just to note, it was £5 but at my current rate I would be left penniless!).

P.S. As some of you are well acquianted with my extravert nature I want to declare that I am willing to perform "dares" on this mini-expedition to raise more money from you kind people. I am willing to listen to any proposals you may have i.e. do the challenge wearing a tutu, standing at the top of each peak in my boxers or being COMPLETELY shaven before the challenge...Be as creative as you want, but nothing stupid!
