Alopecia UK is a national charity providing support, community and education to improve the lives of those affected by alopecia. The charity relies on individual fundraisers and donors to continue its work. Alopecia UK receives no government or statutory funding.

Story

Alopecia UK is a small charity which provides much needed support, information and advice to those affected by hair loss of any kind.

The charity understands the huge impact alopecia can have on an individual. Although not life-threatening, hair loss is life altering and it can be really hard to adjust to a new appearance.

Alopecia UK promotes awareness of the condition in the hope that this will educate the wider public about the condition and reduce social stigma, ultimately making it easier for those to live with the condition.

Alopecia UK has seen social media fundraising campaigns prove very successful for other charities. It would like to think its supporters will be kind enough to pledge a fiver (or whatever you can afford) this Alopecia Awareness Month.

Every pound goes toward the charity's work in helping those affected by hair loss.
