This page is in memory of Barbara Celia Gibson, who passed away peacfully in the early hours of Tuesday 13th of April 2010, aged 85.

In her memory, we have decided to collect donations for the charity Deaf Child Worldwide. This charity helps deaf children all over the world learn their local sign language, become literate and integrated members of their community. As Barbara spent much of her life tirelessly campaigning for the rights of the deaf community in the UK, we thought it fitting that her legacy be carried on by donations to help carry out similar work world-wide.
