We raise funds for vital medical research to ensure the health of women and babies

Story

23rd June - A special thank you to ((((Alison)))) and ((((Peter)))) who have substantially boosted my donation total  - it is fab thank you both so much! 3rd August  Thank you one and all for helping me meeting that deadline. It is so appreciated. I am officially going to do Cycle Jordan now! The last £200 came from the boot sale Joyce and I did on Sunday. We are seriously considering developing 'our market skills' to branch out on a new career path.  The site will not close so anyone who has forgotten to donate there is still time!!  So please please continue to sponsor me now! Oct 20th After all the trials,  tribulations ( two broken ribs) and triumphs of training, I am delighted to say that I completed the Jordan Cycle Challenge along with 83 amazing motivated women. During the 4 days we cycled from Amman to Aqaba in temperatures around 40 keeping each other motivated with tales of the unexpected, confessions from various quarters and dreams of ice cold showers. Sometimes the language was choice and on other times there were tears. I am sure everyone participating would say  it was a worthwhile undertaking and absolutely brilliant FUN. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to my site and maybe you might think of undertaking the next Women for Women Cycle Challenge in China in 2011. Its a great cause. I will upload some pictures soon.

Best wishes

Barbara
