Thanks for taking the time to look at my page...

 

A year ago through some volunteer work I met an amazing guy.... He was passionate about kids and helping them to fulfil their potential. He also changed my life by encouraging me to follow my dreams instead of doing what other people thought I should be doing.  Unfortunately he was diagnosed in January with terminal cancer and passed away last week. I could be running now for a charity that supports research on what he had but I would rather run for a charity that he would have run for - Right to Play because I want to make a difference in someone else's life.

 

I come from South Africa where every child's Right to play is not always a reality. I have worked with kids who have never had the opportunity to be children because they have had to grow up too fast!

 

Right To Play helps give these children a childhood.

 

Anyone who knows me, thinks I'm a little bit insane when it comes to running and the common question is "why do you do it?" the answer to that is because I can. Thats why I'm running this half marathon and it WILL get me through to the finish line. Whether you want to sponsor me a lump sum or pay a penny for every step i'll take in the race (i'll work it out for you!) I'll do the leg work for you! Please help me make a difference!
