We've supported our brother as have many support groups - including the Downs Syndrome Association. Having seen first hand the anguish and additional work Mum and Dad went through to bring up a child afflicted with Down's we decided to raise in excess of £1000 to help other families.

(Those who saw me after the half marathon know I'll likely not make time to train for this so it will be exhausting!)

The picture to the left is Bob and he has a heart of gold. He tries at all he does and he is someone we should all try to emulate - though maybe we would make different fashion decisions.
