Charity

We have set this website to try and raise some money for our chosen charity Mind.

Event  Description

The event is taking place between November 17th and November 19th, and is a charity Bike Ride from Barrow AFC's ground Holker Street - situated on the West coast in Cumbria -  to Grimsby Town FC's ground Blundell Park - situated on the East coast in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire. The Event coincides with Grimsby's home game (Phill's `big` team) against Barrow AFC ( Mark's only team, Phill's home town team) on Saturday November 19th.

Event Details

The bike ride is roughly 180 miles long - around 60 miles a day - which will push us hard as none of us are regular cyclists, and we currently rely on our parents to repair our punctures! Also there will only be 8 hours of daylight available to reach our daily destination.

Day one

The first day will be a hilly challenge starting from Holker Street, and hopefully arriving in Settle Lanchashire before dark.

Day two

The second day will also involve hills and will take us from Settle to Selby, Yorkshire

Day Three

Day three will take us from Selby to our destination of Blundell Park, Grimsby, where we will be having an evening of light refreshments, before looking forward to the big game on Saturday the 19th November
