On May 11, 2008 I will be taking part in the Fred Whitton Challenge cycle race. This is a gruelling 112 mile ultra hilly ride around the English Lake District that takes in six of the toughest road climbs: Kirkstone Pass, Honister Pass, Newlands Pass, Whinlatter Pass, Cold Fell, Irton Pike, finishing with the brutal Hardknott and Wrynose Passes.
