Fundraising for Yapton Free Church
Story
6 Villages Nepal Orphanage Cycle Challenge - 19th-21st September 2008
Hi, I am one of 50 cyclists helping to raise £50,000 to build an orphanage for destitute children in Nepal. Yapton Free Church, together with schools, churches and families within the 6 surrounding villages are already supporting the welfare and schooling of 30 Nepalese orphans. But with many more in dire need, we now need to build a purpose-designed orphanage.
The 106 mile taxing challenge along the South Downs Roman Way from Winchester to Eastbourne will take 3 days to complete. With many of our riders in their 50s and 60s, this is a Last of the Summer Wine challenge in every sense. We need your support - and so do these orphans in Nepal. Please pledge whatever you can afford. Every penny will go directly to building this orphanage.
