Support for Bobath was inspired by fundraising of Bryan's friend and colleague Allan Vernel and his wife Francesca who identified The Bobath Centre as specialists who could assist with therapy to assist their child Daniel who survived a traumatic birth and as a result has dyskinetic athetoid cerebral palsy. The Bobath Centre has staff dedicated to working with children with cerebral palsy and are aware of specialist techniques and technology that can help children to be as mobile and independent as possible. Daniel continues to attend the Bobath Centre and is benefiting greatly from specialist therapy.

Allan has suggested that any funds raised from this event be directed to Bobath Centre for benefit of all who attend it
