Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I am heading out to northern Kenya in February 2007 as part of a project to provide clean drinking water to the rural  village of Manyangalo.

The first phase of the project will assist in eliminating many of the water borne viruses that affect the local people and the next phase will support irrigation for farming needs.

So for 2 weeks I will be digging trenches, laying water pipes from a fresh water source to the village and building a 5,000 gallon water tank.  Additionally, some of the team will be spending some time researching healthcare services within the district Hospital in Meru.

Whatever is donated via this website will be given directly to the Kenyan people to meet their healthcare and education needs. No intermediaries or corrupt charitable organisations guaranteed!!!!!

Finally, I have covered all of my costs and flights so all of the money will be going to the kenyan people

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. The project will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So all you have to do now is reach into your big fat wallet or purse after considering how much money you wasted on Christmas stuff (that you didn't really need anyway!) and make an online donation.

Many thanks for your support,

Bayne
