Story

Hi, on Sunday 5th April 2009 I plan to throw myself out of a plane! (Many of you may have secretly harboured a desire to do this to me). However, this time it is for charity.  I’ve been persuaded to take part in the UCLan charity parachute jump to raise money for the two charities below. Both are excellent causes, much deserving of our support.

The Rosemere Cancer Foundation, provides invaluable support to patients being treated in cancer units throughout Lancashire and. Visit their website to read more about the excellent work they do:

The Foundation is home to bursaries and scholarships at UCLan - these include the Harris Bursary Fund, which supports students who are financially or socially disadvantaged, and the African Midwifery Project, which enables midwifes in Africa to educate others to care for mothers and babies.
