Story

I am taking part in the  Brighton Triathlon.....

and raising money for The Sophie Cameron Trust

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I would hugely appreciate your support so please sponsor me on line if you have a moment.

You are now probably aware that I have signed up for the unenviable challenge of compteting my first ever (and hopefully not last) triathlon.  I know that this will be a big personal challenge for me but I am sure it will be both enjoyable and rewarding in the long run!

I was hoping to do the London Triathlon but due to injury I had to pull out.....I am now doing the Brighton Tri on the 21st of this month and after my sea swim this weekend I am pretty terrified!

The race starts in the sea with a 1/2mile swim between Brighton Piers, followed by a 20km bike ride and a 5km run.

I couldn't do this without raising money for a cause close to my heart so all sponsorship money raised will be donated to The Sophie Cameron Trust.  Sophie was a popular, vivacious and ambitious family friend who sadly lost her battle against encephalitis lethargica in 2006.

Please read more about The Sophie Cameron Trust and the good work that continues; http://www.thesophiecamerontrust.org.uk/index.htm

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Sophie Cameron Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thank you so much for your support,

Bernice x
