Next on the agenda is Helen and Caroline are walking Ben Nevis.  We have a weekend away planned where we walk the route including 50km and 30km and this will be probably the first walk where the whole team are together!

Trailwalker challenges teams of four to walk or run 100km in less than 30 hours (yes we know we are five, but Helen will be walking with us unofficially). That's from Petersfield to Brighton along the South Downs Way.

The event will take place on the 18th July and walking through the night we hope to finish the morning of 19th. Our target is 24 hours.

We have started our individual training regimes; Caroline attended a week’s Military Boot Camp, Elias is running a half marathon, Andy is doing his football referee exams, Lucy running home from the office to Waterloo and Helen studying the best pub guide. We have also started our group training in earnest and with two large walks under our belt and have started discovering the terrain on the downs! The views from the top of the North Downs are truly breathtaking and we are hoping to enjoy the same when we start our training on the South Downs. We aim to hike between 20-25km every weekend, and will step up to longer walks as we get into May. Our six strong support team is in place and we have also arranged for two burley South Africans to walk the final 20k with us on the day.
