In memory of Russell Collins
We help people with a learning disability to live their lives the way they choose

Story

We are a group of care workers from Heart of England Mencap, who will be cycling from Stratford upon Avon to Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton to raise money for adapted bicycles for people with a learning disability.

We are cycling in memory of Russell Collins who we supported, and who sadly passed away last year. He was a big Wolves fan and loved to go and watch them play.

We are aiming to raise £2,500 from our ride, which would go towards two folding tricycles, a side-by-side and a recumbent bicycle. This would enable many of the people we support to experience the thrill of riding a bicycle.

About the charity

Heart of England Mencap are dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities and to help them to live their lives the way they choose. We are committed to giving them the opportunity to access learning, employment, and leisure activities and to enable them to lead fulfilling lives.
