During a drunken night out with a few friends we decided we needed a new challenge!!

As the drink flowed we we discussed various options and came up with the idea to cycle from John O'Groats to Lands End.  We have been training for the last 2-3 months and are intending to depart from Scotland on Sat 4th September and finish in Cornwall on Thursday 16th.

Having chosen our challenge we then decided we should aim to raise as much money as possible for charity.

Many of us have had friends and family that have been affected by Cancer.  One of the two charities we chose was CLIC.

This charity focuses on caring for children and young people who have been diagnosed with Cancer and helps them both in hospital and at home.  Every day 10 families are told their child has Cancer.  As the UK's leading Children's Cancer Charity, CLIC Sargent is the only organisation to offer them all round care and support.

Our group of riders will be funding their own expenses i.e. travel, accommodation etc. but would really appreciate it if you could help by donating as much money as possible to this very worthwhile cause which is solely funded by donations.
