Story

Amnesty International together with The Medical Foundation for the Care of Victims of Torture (www.torturecare.org.uk) are pleased to promote our fourth fundraising concert in Birmingham Cathedral, St Philips Place, on 18th December at 11.00am.

The concert proudly presents a variety of individual artists, musicians, & poems, together with carols from our Choir.

Besides raising funds (shared equally between Amnesty & The Medical Foundation) we hope to spread awareness of the work of both charities.

Out guest speaker will be Clare Short. Clare was MP for Ladywood from 1983 to 2010 & Secretary of State for International Development until 2003. DIFD was a new Ministry created in 1997 to promote policies for sustainable development and the elimination of poverty.

If you are prevented from joining our concert and would like to support our two charities, please help us by making your donation on-line.

Thank you
