We offer expert care, guidance and support to people living with a terminal illness

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

We're running from Bowling Glasgow to Fountainbridge Edinburgh, along the Forth and Clyde & Union canals. It's 63 miles!

Last year we raised £585.00 for Heart and Cancer research UK. We ran 42 miles from Broxburn West Lothian to Broxburn East Lothian.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

UPDATE

We did it! We did it! We did it! We did it!
Hoorah for us! A big Thank you to everyone involved in this amazing challenge. Thanks to all our support crew and helpers, and thanks to all our donators and bestwishers.

We set off just after midnight at Bowling and arrived at Fountainbridge just after 5pm. 17 hours on the go! I reckon we stopped for about 3 hours, so it was around 14 hours running time.

Watch this space for Hadrian's Wail, 85 miles coast to coast in 2008...

FOOTNOTE
This page expires on the 22nd of November, so there's still time to donate a pound to Marie Curie. Thanks.

THE END
That's it folks for another year. Thanks to everyone who's donated, or who's given us support in our efforts.
Next year is Hadrian's Wall! Right, where's my spikey shoes? I'm off up the Pentlands. See you in the future...
