Story
Imagine not being able to move, sleep or smile. Feeling anxious or depressed and struggling to remember or think. Your body not feeling like your own, separated from your mind and beyond your control. This is Parkinson’s.
The Mace team at Battersea Power Station are hosting a charity darts night in aid of Parkinson’s UK to help support the 145,000 people living with Parkinson’s. The evening will be hosted by Sky Sports presenter Dave Clark and all funds raised on the night will go towards Parkinson’s UK helpline - which provides a kind, friendly ear on the end of a phone to listen, whatever the subject and however many questions, and to give people real, tangible help. The Helpline advisers understand what Parkinson’s really is, the many ways it affects lives, how difficult it is to cope with and how many unexpected impacts it can have.
Everyone can take part in a 3-dart challenge where the 5 top scoring players will go on to play a game of 501 against professional darts player Paul ‘the Asset’ Nicholson.
Don’t worry, there will also be a raffle to win your way into a game on the
oche and we will finish the night with an auction featuring a few sporting
goodies
