Last year, my partner Viv was diagnosed with breast cancer. She has since gone through a course of Chemotherapy and a couple of operations and thankfully has come through the other side with a positive outcome. Thanks to intensive research on this disease, the chances of a full recovery are very high if it is caught early. However the disease is all too common and it still remains a real threat and much more work is needed. It is clearly very dear to our hearts having been so directly affected by it and for this reason, we are raising money to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
