We believe no child should ever have to live on the streets.

Story

The girls take on Brecon Beacons!

Kerrie Rowson, Bernadette Earley, Claire Webb, Rebekah Clark and Stacey Cabrera will be taking on the Brecon Challenge on 10th June to raise money for The Railway Children.

http://www.railwaychildren.org.uk/

Our challenge comprises of 3 stages:

Hiking  stage The route takes us over Pen Y Fan, a distance of approximately 16km, climbing a total of almost 600m in height and will take approximately 5 hours.

Cycling stage The route takes a large figure of eight, incorporating much of the well-cycled 'Taff Trail', a distance of 32km and will take approximately 4 hours.

Raft Stage We will proceed to the grassy bank at the southern end of Pentwyn Reservoir. Equipment in the form of barrels, poles and lashes will be provided. Once the raft is built, our team has to paddle it round a loop on the reservoir.

Phew!

Team members complete every stage. It’s a tough one! However, with our enthusiasm and determination and our dedicated support person, Rebekah Clark, we’re confident that we can complete this challenge successfully.

Our target is to raise at least £2,500 for The Railway Children. Please help us reach our goal. Thank you for your support!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us as the money goes directly to The Railway Children. If you are a taxpayer, please remember to tick the gift aid box as this providesan extra 28% at NO COST TO YOURSELF!
