Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. On 25th May 2008 we will be attempting to complete the Edinburgh Marathon.
A charity that is very important to me is St Catherines Hopsice. For those of you who do not know my dad passed away on 6th December 2004 from lung cancer, in October 2003 doctors gave him 3 months to live but my dad battled on and took 15 months, during this time the support and care that St Catherines Hospice will never be forgotten, especially in the last few weeks of my dads life.
Because of this i feel its important to give something back to them, and help them provide the support to people with terminal illness and support their families. St Catherines are a non profit organisation and purely run on donations so its important to give as much as you possibly can especially with the amount of training that involved!! Also if you could send this link out to people you think may not of seen it that would be great.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: St Catherine's Hospice will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
Please donate generously.
Many thanks for your support.
