Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are raising funds for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, a charity that focuses on the early detection and treatment of cancer and the clinical trials of new drugs that will eventually beat it. Many of us have friends and family that have suffered from this terrible disease, in fact one of our team, Tracey (in black) is currently a patient at the Bobby Robson unit following diagnosis of Kidney Cancer.

So please dig deep and make a donation for this very worthy cause.

Update after the event:

Well, we made it!

We've all got a few sore bits but what a great experience and a fantastic team effort.

Thanks to everyone for your generous donations - your support is very much appreciated.

Charity gig:

A month after the C2C and we've just had a fantastic gig at the Grey Horse in East Boldon, performers included Simon & Chas, Sawdust Jacks (John Leslie & friends), Nick, Col & Matt, and the Line Band (Alan Burns and friends), John Craig made his stage debut, Michael & Kate sang a couple of songs, and so did Barry. Thanks to the amazing generosity of everyone who came along and some very kind raffle prize donations, we raised £365 on the night!

About the charity
