Story
Thank you for visiting Rupert, Mark, Lottie & Dan's fundraising page. Please donate generously, and don't hold back!
We are very pleased to announce that we successfully completed the Trailwalker UK 2006 event which took place on the 15th and 16th July. This challenge required us to trek 100km (62.1 miles) across the South Downs from Petersfield to Brighton in under 30 hours. All four of us managed to complete this challenge in 22 hours and 56 minutes. Our 6 month training programme that saw us through 480 kms of English countryside throughly prepared us for this event, however, we would not have been able to complete it without the assistance from our fantastic and dedicated support crew - Kate, Nick, Alix, Simon & Alexandra whose help throughout the day and night really was beyond comprehension.
This event (which will be held again next year) was organised by Oxfam and Queens Gurkha Signals Regiment so any donations that you make via this site will go to both Oxfam (60%) and the Gurkha Welfare Trust (40%).
Thank you very much to all of those who have supported us.
