12 for 12: Celebrating 12 Years of Abianda
This year marks 12 years of Abianda.
As a small charity, reaching this milestone is an incredible achievement. Over the last 12 years, we have built a reputation as a specialist charity working alongside girls and young women affected by criminal exploitation and violence.
Everything we do starts with young women and girls.
Their voices, experiences and expertise are at the heart of our work, shaping how we support them, train professionals and create change within systems young women and girls travel through. Through our direct support, participation, lived experience leadership, training and systems change, we work to ensure young women and girls are seen, heard and understood.
To celebrate our first 12 years, we're inviting our community to take part in 12 for 12.
The challenge is simple: do something inspired by the number 12. Swim 12 kilometres, cook 12 dishes, read 12 books, complete 12 acts of kindness, host 12 friends for dinner or create your own challenge. Big or small, every challenge counts.
More than a fundraiser, 12 for 12 is a celebration of the community that has helped shape Abianda over the last 12 years and an opportunity to introduce more people to our work.
Whether you choose to donate to one of our challengers, take on a challenge yourself, or simply share the campaign, you'll be helping us continue working alongside girls and young women and ensuring their experiences remain at the centre of the conversation.
Thank you for being part of the Abianda story.
