We have an amazing 15 runners fundraising for Starlight Barking in the London Landmarks Half Marathon on Sunday 12th April. They have each pledged to raise £500 for Lemnos Dog Shelter in Greece.

This will support one of the long-term Ghost Dogs of the shelter with extensive blood tests, vaccinations, health checks and legal paperwork to enter the UK and begin a new life.

With your help we hope to help each runner double this so we can potentially help 30 dogs escape the hell-hole shelter where they have been incarcerated 24/7 in the most inhumane conditions imaginable.

With remaining funds we will continue to make the lives of these dumped dogs a little more bearable by providing veterinary care, medication and food supplements.

Even the smallest donation is so appreciated and will go a long way to help these poor abandoned dogs.

We also support UK shelters and their dogs for adoption are on our website: www.starlightbarking.co.uk but sadly in the UK many dog rescue charities will often turn down potential adopters because of their age!

At Starlight Barking we have now re-homed hundreds of dogs to wonderful people of a certain age who were unable to adopt in the UK but have provided the most loving homes for our dogs who previously had no hope.
