About the Here for You Appeal:

Having a child ill in hospital is hard. Day in and day out, children undergo daunting procedures, parents live with worry and uncertainty, siblings miss each other desperately and families can have their whole life changed in an instant. Many go through experiences that are hard for most of us to imagine.

Together, through their emotional support service, the charity can reach out a hand to help these families through.

Your support could fund a counselling session for a long term patient coping with the loneliness of being away from family and friends, or music therapy for a non-verbal child to help them communicate and release their emotions. Over the past year alone, 145 children and family members have received emotional support through the charity's counselling service and 562 music therapy sessions have taken place across both the children’s hospital and neonatal intensive care unit.
