I’m taking on the Carten Cycle to raise money for Noah’s Ark, a charity that means so much to our family.

Several of my grandchildren have needed treatment at Noah’s Ark over the years, and we simply cannot praise the staff enough for the care, kindness and compassion they show every single day.

More recently, our grandson Thomas has been receiving exceptional care following the removal of a tumour over the Christmas period. The support he continues to receive with his ongoing care plan has been outstanding — not only for Thomas, but also for his mam, dad and sister. The reassurance, guidance and genuine kindness shown to our whole family has meant more than words can say.

This cycle is for all the heroes at Noah’s Ark — the doctors, nurses, specialists and support staff who don’t just care for one child or one family, but for thousands of others when they need it most.

No matter how small the donation, you’ll be helping not only one slightly creaky cyclist make it to the finish line, but also helping Noah’s Ark continue their incredible work for children and families every day.
